The primary worshiping voice of Christ Church is that of the gathered people, the assembly. Our choir assists the primary voice in a number of ways. The choir supports the assembly, learning the music first  to help others find their voice. Sometimes the choir will sing a sort of dialogue with the assembly in the worship service. And there are parts of the service in which the choir sings on behalf of the assembly, raising their voices in song to God.

We invite you to join us! The choir welcomes singers of varying abilities. If you come to rehearse with us on Thursday evenings at 7:00 (September through May), you will find a joyful, easygoing group, not at all intimidating. You will easily fit in, and we will teach you whatever you need to know. If you’d like to try it out for a limited time, that’s fine too. Either just come to rehearsal (come to the first glass door for entrance; the choir room is under the sanctuary), or if you prefer, speak first to one of our cantors, Robert Farlee or Martin Seltz.
