Welcome to Christ Church Lutheran
For Position Only

We invite all people to the light of Christ.

We are a community centered in worship. Our worship is liturgical, shaped by a centuries-old pattern. It is also creative and joyful in its use of music and the arts. By the work of the Holy Spirit, it shapes us into a forgiven body. It feeds us through the Word as we listen and speak, and in the Meal we share at Christ’s table. And it sends us out, the light and love of Christ to our neighbors and to the whole world.

We are a community sent by the Spirit to serve—all people and the creation. Check out our website to learn more about our mission and ministries.

We are a community gifted with a lovely historic building in which the light of Christ shines. We invite you to come and see this place of architectural genius, of peace and quiet exhilaration. Our sublime, modernist sanctuary was designed by the Finnish-American architect Eliel Saarinen in 1949.  His son, Eero Saarinen, designed our education wing in 1962 to harmonize with his father’s triumph. Click on Tours for more information.

We are eager to welcome you to the light of Christ in this place!
