Building/Property Request
To help us manage building/property-related requests, please complete and submit the form on this page.
What to Expect
Requests will be reviewed by the Christ Church Lutheran Council at their next monthly meeting (typically the third Tuesday of each month—except July when there is no meeting). Urgent requests, such as a safety-related issue, might be addressed sooner.
The Council will:
Determine whether the request is potentially feasible, based on current priorities, budget, available resources, and/or the rules associated with being a National Historic Landmark.
Notify you whether your request will be carried forward to the next stage or if we need additional information from you before considering the request further.
You can expect to hear something by the end of the month in which the next Council meeting occurs.
What Else to Note
Some requests will require input beyond the Council, such as the Property Committee, Preservation Committee, etc.
The church’s National Historic Landmark status often means a request cannot be pursued or, if pursued, might cost more than it would for other properties without this status.
The annual budget for the upcoming fiscal/calendar year is drafted in October, reviewed and approved by the Council in November, and voted on by the congregation in December. Ideally, a request would be submitted by October 1 for consideration for the upcoming calendar year.
